Swedish Business Central view name: Web Connect Inställningar
The Web Connect General Setup page defines all global settings required before any integration can run.
This is the foundation of the entire Web Connect platform in Microsoft Business Central. No integrations, objects or incoming/outgoing processes can function until this setup is completed.
Copy & Automation Actions #

| Copy Setup to Company | Copies the entire Web Connect setup to another company within the same Business Central environment. Useful for multi-company deployments. |
| Set Up Integration Job Queues | Automatically creates all recommended job queue entries for handling incoming, outgoing, triggering, validation and cleanup processes. |
General Settings #
Core activation and global behaviour.

| Integration Active | Enables Web Connect globally. Must be ON for any integration to run. |
| Monitor Active | Enables monitoring of integrations. Recommended for production. |
| Monitor Email List | Comma-separated list of emails receiving monitor alerts. |
| Auto-Create Job Queue Processing | Automatically creates job queue handlers if missing. |
| Deactivate Auto-Delete of Web Entries | Debug mode. Prevents cleanup of Web Entries. Only for temporary troubleshooting. |
| Content No. Series | Optional No. Series for generated content entries. Usually left blank. |
| Content Creation Retries | Number of retries for processing content. |
| Web Entry Retries | Retries for creating/inserting Web Entries. |
| Process Entry Max Count | Max entries to process per job execution. |
| Skip Validation | Skips validation steps. Recommended OFF in standard setups. |
| Full Process Per Entry | Forces full processing per entry. Recommended OFF. |
| Disable Upgrade Scripts | Stops upgrade scripts from running during app updates. Only for controlled environments. |
| Enable Incoming Data v.2 | Routes all incoming data to the v2 processing engine (beta). |
Retention Policies #
Keeps Business Central database size under control and essential for performance.

| Retention Policy Enabled | Activates automatic cleanup of logs and queues. Strongly recommended. |
| Retention Run Time | Time of day when cleanup job runs (once daily). |
| Delete Values and Underlying After | Deletes underlying values for OK Incoming Data. Keeps object tree for logging. |
| Delete OK Content After | Fully deletes OK Incoming Data after a specified period. |
| Delete Error Content After | Deletes error records. Use with extreme caution. |
| Delete Outgoing Blob Data After | Deletes outgoing blob content but keeps entry. Disables duplicate detection. |
| Delete Synced Outgoing Data After | Deletes synced outgoing entries to reduce DB size. |
Note: All date formulas must be negative (e.g. -1M).
Automatic Processes #
These settings control whether Web Connect automatically processes incoming and outgoing data or if the customer prefers manual/semi-manual operation.
Downloads (Incoming Data) #

| Auto Create Request Download Web Entries | Automatically creates “request” entries for systems requiring fetch-before-process. |
| Auto-Read Content | Reads and interprets incoming payloads automatically. |
| Auto-Validate Content | Runs validation automatically after reading. |
| Auto-Create Content | Creates or updates BC records automatically after validation. |
Uploads (Outgoing Data) #

| Auto Populate Outgoing Data from Triggers | Activates all sync triggers and populates Outgoing Data automatically. |
| Auto-Calculate Triggered Inventory | Recalculates inventory for items where “Trigger for Update” is enabled. |
| Auto-Calculate Triggered Price | Recalculates price exports based on triggers. |
| Auto Web Entries From Change | Converts Outgoing Data entries into Web Entries automatically. |
| Auto Upload Web Entries | Sends Web Entries automatically via job queue. |
Item SKU Settings #
Controls how SKU identifiers are generated and interpreted across integrations.

| Integration Stock Keeping Unit Option | Defines how SKU is constructed: Item No / Item No + Variant / Item No + UoM / all combined. |
| Stock Keeping Unit Delimiter | Separator used in SKU construction (e.g. - or _). |
| Auto-Set Integration SKU | If enabled, Web Connect auto-generates SKU based on selected logic. |
| Integration SKU Flow Field | Dynamic FlowField allowing custom SKU logic when variant/UoM combinations are insufficient. |
