Prerequisites #
Before the monitor can run it needs to be installed in your Business Central environment.
Starting the Monitor #
To activate monitoring:
- Open Background Monitor Setup
- Verify license is active
- Configure General and Table Monitor Entries

- Select Start/Update Job Queue Monitor Schedule

The monitor will now run continuously according to the configured rules.
Enabling Monitoring on Individual Jobs #
To monitor a specific job:
- Go to Job Queue Entries
- Open the job you want to monitor
- Enable:
- Monitor Active = job is monitored
- Set to Ready = job is automatically restarted if set in to error

Only jobs with Monitor Active enabled are handled by the monitor.
